Mate, you were absolutely spot on as it happened. Whats your forecast for Saturday!? It wasn't so much that Chelsea played well, in fact I've never seen a game where one side played less football. They didn't even bother chasing balls into the opposition half. Its more that Barcelona despite all there wonderful passing and close control had absolutely no plan B. Someone jokingly said they would had won if they'd had Lambert playing but the fact is, I think they really would have especially with no big central defenders to mark him. That said, I though Chelsea's first goal was absolutely brilliant.
Being so light in defence as Barca are, if someone misplaces a pass in the middle, it presents a good opportunity to the opposition. Last year, they were so high on confidence that they very rarely did give the ball away.
