Jason Banton has joined Hartlepool on loan until January

I find that bizarre - weve barely got enough of a squad to fill our bench and yet we are loaning a first team player out? I hope gaz has someone lined up to replace him!

Has he been putting in 100%? There were warnings from Plymouth that he's a bit of an in and out player. Any signs of that?

We must have someone lined up to come in on loan if we've loaned himout for 3 months,Ainsworth does quite well in the loan market (Except Donacien though)

I won't say I told you so but.......

I can't understand Banton the player I really can't. He get loaned out all over the place but seldom stays in a side for a club he is owned by. Yet, he has talent and it is there for all to see when he puts a shift in. When we first got him on loan he was fantastic and everyone was baying for him to be signed. We signed him and after a short period a lot were baying for him to bugger off again. I can see what Managers see in him when he is on show. Most would want him. But week in week out he just doesn't do it and maybe he is a problem in the dressingroom where you least want one. Managers then get shot of him to somebody more desperate than they are. I think he must be at the end of his chances anywhere by now. There are too many unemployed footballers now for Managers and clubs to bother with a problem child.

hes not been regular for us and seems to be on and off - i see little sparks but get frustrated by him.... Although gaz had the same issue initally with paris cowen-hall and joel grant yet managed to get them both to pull thier acts together so i hoped he could do the same for banton!

Including loans he's played for 9 clubs and he's only 22,clearly a problem of his own making. If the staff at Wycombe can't make him a better player then i doubt anyone else will.

I think he's a wrong un if he doesn't get his head sorted he may end up like Zeb or even worse Gavin Grant at least he is off our wage bill such a shame and a waste of talent
