Excitement!!! Occasional lapses in concentration and moments of madness, but big strong and athletic defender. Fan favourite in a week.

He is good defending but not a good defender if that makes sense. As a man he won't let you down but he isn't the best when defending as a team due to his team mates having no idea what he is going to do next

He got the nickname bombscare at Hibs. A very good signing for you though

His antics should led to more goals against than they do; he always seems to get away with his mistakes, usually giving the ball away in dangerous positions by trying to beat the entire opposition's team! I think he was our most prolific centre back goalscorer in recent years though. Could do with a bit of that now (although not Bamba, not in the Prem anyway!).

Likes a dribble and his thus positioning will let you down.

But saying that I can't remember a goal we directly conceded because of him, he has an unfair reputation for giving goals away here which isn't true.

Solid defender and has an eye for scoring. Good signing for any Championship club.

... instant hit for us ... scored on debut in FA Cup against Man City ... real handful in the opposition box ... think your fans will love his wholehearted commitment ...

He is a ball playing centre back who likes to dribble his way out of trouble, and just when he seems to have ****ed it up he stretches a leg and wins it. The problem is that as he likes to go forward so much (in open play), he leaves a lot of work for the rest of his defence. Bit of a cult figure, and you will either love him or hate him. I loved him, but also breathed with relief when he left :emoticon-0116-evilg

Personally, I thought around when he left he was starting to show signs of being an excellent defender, thought he and Morgan would have made a good partnership and was sad when he left, although you could see he was never going to stay long under Pearson. He would make the odd error, but unlike Morgan these days, he had the pace to make up for it. Plus he's a great weapon from set-pieces, I miss having a defender with that ability!

This Bamba with an eye for goal is nonsense

Yes he scored on his debut and then scored 2 in his next game but only scored 1 more for us. Hardly prolific

Patrick Kisnorbo is the most prolific defender we have had since Matt Elliott

4 goals in a season and a half isn't bad going for a defender.

We looked a threat from set pieces with him in the team.

When 3 of them was in his first 3 games then its nowhere near another to be considered a threat

2 of his goals was tap ins and the other 2 was complete flukes

Actually, looking at his stats, I see we're the last domestic side he scored for!

We looked like scoring from set pieces with him in the team. Not sure how 2 of them were 'complete flukes' nor why you're shooting down the art of the tap in being as Leicester are famous for bring the greatest tap in expert into the world.

Now now lads ... it's all about opinions ... but just because I love such statistics ... Sol's goals for LCFC against Premier League opposition in open play is far superior to Dave Nugent's <whistle>

Think David Luiz, a defender that isnt afraid to stride forward and leave you light at the back, best position for him would be as a defensive midfielder, though Pearson and Sven played him at the back.

You better have good cover from your other CB. Exciting player, but at the same time, likely to give you a heart attack.

Well 1 was a miss hit Yakubu shot which he fumbled in, 1 was a over hit set piece that he was trying to keep in play and it looped in

Plus his goal at palace was 2 yard out and he still nearly managed to miss
