How much would he have cost to insure? A million or two. Still work out cheaper that balotelli.

So to summarise the last few pages, all of our defenders are **** right now and don't work together or have huge weaknesses. Toure is the only leader, but can't play himself (ie, he's a coach), Skrtel has the ability but can't think for himself, Lovren has the ability and leadership but can't make correct judgements and Sakho for some reason is frozen out despite being talented and a proven leader. I think we all want to see Sakho and Lovren eventually, but they need game time to get their partnership working. There will be ****ups. That's the nature of the beast, but they need time and for whatever reason, Rodgers aint giving Sakho any. Lovren and Toure maybe? I think Lovren will turn up trumps still, but Toure is a good leader and could maybe help him along a little for the time being. I'm a big Skrtel fan, but him and Lovren isn't working right now.

Midfield needs addressing too. Gerrard has positives, but really can't be playing 90minutes every game of every week. Rodgers hasn't got the balls to drop, rest or sub him and that is a big problem.

My thoughts on Balotelli are well noted. People aren't making him out to be a scapegoat after last night. He was one of many of our players who were ****. It just so happens that we've had plenty of threads on Skrtel and CBs, we've done Johnson to death and all realise he's crap, we've also criticised Gerrard on many occasions too as well as tactical naivity of Rodgers. Mario's next. Get over it. He's the next thing to talk about which hasn't been done til our fingers run dry.

How many strikers have a fantastic work rate?

Tevez, Suarez, Muller? Borini, anyone else?

All four players have once played winger and all know the purpose of tracking back. Ballotelli is a striker who drops in deep but can only play striker, he has probably never been taught how to press as he's never needed too.

You can still play a pressing game and not have the striker do the same job, for me I would ask Balotelli to not press as it's not his game and be alert 100% when we have the ball, make runs into the box and hold up the ball well. We're asking a striker to work hard and it will never work.

I do feel real bad for Balotelli, some people on here were basically waitining for him to fail to bring the hammer out. I've said before he's a confidence player and so far we have given him no support whatsoever.

    thats a question..........

i would say........ costa is a bugger to play against while ibrahimovic is not

torres was a busy player, drogba was a devil to play.... lukaku runs channels and works.... i do think its more about attitude. balotelli is ibrahimovic lite... we want costa

i don't feel bad for him at all but do feel bad we are abusing him for the wrong reasons

Costa doesn't have a fantastic work rate though, he's a dirty player who gets away with it because if a Center back falls to easily there done for that match.

Balotelli doesnt fit into our style of play. The one attribute of his that iv been impressed with is of no use to our forward play

You're saying he has no confidence? He pings in shots from 40yards the second he gets the ball because he arrogantly believes they'll sail in! Borini is a confidence player because he never takes shots and always looks to pass instead. The only thing wrong with his confidence is that it's too high.
