Balotelli

Discussion in 'Liverpool' started by Hash., Oct 22, 2014.

  1. Yep, frustrating that we have two players that seem incapable of playing a full ninety minutes. Effectively means we go into each game with just two subs.

    Great idea.

Coutinho is important but we need to be robust and get a few clean sheets before andding another attacking player.

  3. May I suggest playing this line-up then:

    Migs
    Flanno - Mankiller - Skrtel - Lovren - Sakho - Enrique - Moreno
    Hendo - Can

    Sterling

I bet we'd still concede loads.

I take it you left Johnson out on purpose?

Still not sure why your doctors turned their nose up at Remy.....
He is playing for us no problem and scoring, as I said on the United board (Remy 2 goals in 4 league games, Balo 0 goals in 5 league games).

Was it something about a heart defect or something, like a million to one shot that it would cause a problem.

And Remy was a lot cheaper too.......

We didn't want to take the risk I imagine. Would cost a ****ing **** ton to unsure a player like that. Not a problem for a Russian Oligarch, but for most business people he was determined not worth the risk.

I'd personally rather risk him than risk Balotelli.

Didn't he just kick a ball and tear his groin?

I thought kicking a ball was what footballers get paid to do

I'd have him over balotelli though <ok>

Lol I dont think he failed the medical over groin problems, thats just something that happened, and he wont be out for very long, he may even play this weekend, dont think the scan was too bad.

    Problem is that you have:

    - Flanno who can't stop crosses and is poor positionally
    - Skrtel who plays deep and is incapable of positioning correctly
    - Lovren who cannot judge the ball to save his life
    - Enrique who has no real ability other than to shield the ball out of play

Other than that, not too bad <ok>

  12. Of course <laugh>

I found it amusing after I posted it because I realised I'd left Toure out too so we still lack a vocal leader <laugh>

  13. Not sure that's entirely true, didn't he go off injured on Tuesday? <laugh>

Agree on this. Not quite sure why a risk on Balotelli was a better bet than a risk on Remy.

lfc took someones credit card and maxed it out in the US checking this guys heart out..... that suggest to me they should not have been conducting medicals over there at all and should have run the guy back to england for a proper assesment. I'd not be at all shocked if we ballsed up the medical at this point.

our preseason was an shambles in terms of preparingfor the season... we prob needed to tell the guy to get back to x specialist we use properly with a medic and get it sorted.
