Swaps shirts and substituted at half time. This game was actually one of Ballo's better games. The substitution came because Balotelli squared up to Glen Driscoll and Colin Pascoe. He threw a punch but missed. 50% of the above may not actually be true but its more exciting than the an shambles witnessed at Anfield tonight. If Madrid werent thinking of the classico at the weekend the score could have been 8,9 or 10
Actually I saw nothing worse than any other balotelli performance this year He held it up a couple times even..... Who knows. But I will say it should be the end of him as not his worst is far from acceptable
The guy just doesn't give a **** and his attitude on the pitch and training ground really can't be helping our team ethic. Would you work hard and keep the faith/confidence when the 'main man' spearheading the attack barely moves, moans, glares at his teammates when he doesn't get the ball and needlessly wastes possession at every opportunity in their half? I'd find it hard to play...
I think Balotelli should be made captain. He was terrific tonight, his hair looked amazing, and there was one time when he even broke into a sweat. It was just after he tripped over his pet lip. Does anyone know of a good television engineer ? I think the sound on mine is on the blink. It went off just after kick off and didn't come back on until news at 10.
Suarez?, you are on a thread on our board that wouldn't have existed if not for his contribution for us last season, did him not scoring at the KC earn Hull megabucks and a place in the CL? In the scheme of things Suarez ain't Balotelli and won't be playing against you this season.
I don't think I've ever disliked a Liverpool player quite as much as Bollocktelli. And that includes Paul Konchesky!!!
If he plays for this club again I'll pitch a tent outside Melwood, firstly so I can protest and kip in it as long as necessary to make the point and/or get into the ground to do some analysis of Rodgers' head, and secondly so I can drill a massive hole inside it, get Balotelli to walk inside, fall down the hole and then ****ing fill it in to make sure he doesn't play again.
He was a vanity buy for Rodgers. He thought he'd be the man to get the best out of Balotelli having convinced himself that he was responsible for taming and nurturing Suarez. Deluded fool.
Is that the Suarez that earned the Golden Boot and got us £50m profit on our outlay and a CL place despite missing the first 5 games of the season?
That's the man. Brenda thought he was responsible for that and that he could do it again with Balotelli. Why else would he sign him?!
Why would you assume Rodgers wasn't responsible "for that"? Of course he was, just like any manager is responsible for his player/players?
Because maybe he's just like 90% of people who watch football who have some insane belief that he is 'potentially world class' (and I know plenty of people even on these forums have said that because it has wound me up even since his City days) and just needs the right team/manager to get it out of him. Even right now, mates of mine are still coming out with ****e like, "he's obviously talented but is too lazy", City fans defended him to the hilt and the media love him and his 'ability but bad boy' image. Don't single out Rodgers as being some deluded fool. If anything, make him out to be as stupid as the majority (well, majority until he came to Liverpool when suddenly everyone realises how **** he actually is - funny that, come to think of it).
I hear the MLS wants to compete for 'World Class Players' and not just to be a retirement home. Perhaps we can fool one of the teams into buying Balotelli in Jan. Big name signing that isn't over 32, could suit everybody. The sooner he's out of the club the better
Good points. I was one of those who thought the fella had some untapped talent in need of harnessing - sort of, was a stretch for me - but having witnessed the reality it's clear he's got nothing going for his game whatsoever on the ball or off the ball. His 'wonder goals' have been flukes if you ask me, extremely lucky.
