I would too. Marginally edges it but he would be more of the team player, less of the superstar. Younger and, I believe, would disrupt the side less. That said, Ronaldo is better and would score more. I just think it would be all about him. Bale. Just.
Ronnie. In terms of what he will give you here and the certainty of goals (even with cautious LVG!). More short term that the Taff I agree but better to have short term certainty than long term "uncertainty"
Ronaldo is nowhere near the player he was and that's simply down to age. Bale would be the better signing imo.
Bale for the reasons already stated plus he can cover at left back in case the other half a dozen left backs are injured.
Bale is a very good player. World class even (whatever that means) and I would certainly have him if he was available. But IMO he is not in the same league as CR7.
Actually he's in the same team so yes he's in the same league Ronaldo looks more and more frustrated these days and he wont get the chances at Utd that he used to, or gets at Real so it's only going to get worse
Ronnie will be a dream acquisition for United. Both from the footballing and business points of view. Even at £80m the GGs and the executive will be jumping for joy. The club will easily recoup that money via merchandise, promotions, endorsements, advertising, TV broadcasting etc. As for football, LVG may or may not want him but there is no doubt that he will be a challenge to most defences in the premiership.
How about... Suarez or Bale? One's Welsh and ones a cannibal, so please ignore these obvious character flaws.
Tbf Suarez has shown he can excel with quality around him at Barca. Something he lacked at Liverpool. And something he'd naturally have in abundance at United. We'd bring him success.
The Rat may have been idolised by the RS but United will not want him. He despised those very RS who chanted his name. I'd prefer to lose any trophy than having him soiling the name of the club. Dalglish the buffoon supported him against his better judgement and look what happened to him.
Bollocks. If you signed him and he was an integral part of winning trophies you'd love it and would probably create a million threads laughing at the Liverpool fans about how he'd won you stuff.
