God forbid someone does put down an offer too good to be true for Bainsey and assuming:

    a) it's aroud the £25m mark (not unrealistic seeing some other recent price tags.
I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up getting £30m for him)

    and

    b) DM is given the lot to invest in the squad (I said 'assuming')

Realistically, who would you want Moyes to buy? And how many?

For what it's worth, I'd love Nani if the rumours about his possible departure from ManU are true.

Personally after seeing the assist statistics yesterday for the premier league, Baines had 11 for the season rating him higher than most wingers!! I would agree with your valuation, but I would have thought that we can ill afford to lose him to be quite honest. We struggle down the flanks and his ability to do that for 90 minutes is precious. We don't have a replacement. Our finances would probably suggest that DM would be lucky to get 50% of the cash. Other departures would be good to boost the kitty, if it were to exist?

I think out of all the players that have been rumoured to go I'd say Baines is the one we must keep. You are right tho, with the current market Bainsey should be worth a fortune!
Was on one of the rumour sites and apparently we're being linked with Bojan!!!!!!!! I love those things.....always good for a laugh.
Nani would be sweet but it seems players only want to go to teams that have already won everything or are likely to win something instantly!!! The smell of pre-made fame and fortune is too much for some players.
It's a bit like some up and coming Man U fans. They say their fans, they wear the shirt, but you ask them to name the team and they're stumped....Errrrm...Rooney....Errrm.....Rooney.....Ermmm...
I wonder if the real Man U fans hate this as much as I do?
I wouldn't actually mind the Ba thing, Defoe would be good for us too, Bojan obviously and Graham Sharp second in command. There, I said it!
