Well now, as I thought Wednesday night That defeat could just be, No bad thing as we set our sights On Premier League safety And results elsewhere did no harm With one point at the most, Picked up by those in most alarm While some were made to roast But Bolton now and Swansea next Are two chances to show, That was just a lapse from the text And not a serious blow And I´d say, more importantly Than winning these two games, Is not to lose, and so make three Big points easy to claim The lead we´ve worked so hard to get Will show in the next weeks, Or so, its worth tenfold, I´ll bet If we keep tight the leaks And one poor showing doesn´t mean Like one swallow in June, That summer´s here, nor that the team´s Suddenly out of tune. No nerves here dave, honestly. If folk are beginning to feel nervous where we´re sitting at the moment, what the hell would they be like if we were in the bottom three , and although we´re not safe yet, we´re a lot safer than some.
