Norwich City have completed the signing of Liverpool defender Daniel Ayala, the Merseyside club have confirmed.

The 20-year-old spent four years at Anfield but made only five first-team appearances.

He spent time on loan in the npower Championship with both Hull City and Derby County last season.

"Liverpool have confirmed Daniel Ayala has completed his transfer to Norwich City," said a statement on liverpoolfc.tv.

Anyone know of what became of Mikel San Jose? I think to Bilbao if I am not mistaken?

By the way, Marcelo Bielsa in charge of Bilbao will see them do well this year I highly believe.

well for me he should be able to make a career for himself. its hard to know.

potential and delivering are two different things but this boy doidn't do much worng when playing a couple of times... mind you neither did darby either. For me there's nothing to suggest today he's the next pique, but there is a lot to suggest he's the next jack hobbs.

Good for him, good for us. we need to slot to bring on another kid to have a go at the firsts and he needs to make his career now.

This is what should be happening if we are letting youngsters with potential go out on the cheap. On a similar topic i believe arsenal have a buyback option/sell on clause as part of the fabregas deal to barca(reported at 50%).
