Having visited the impressive MK stadium for the first time on Saturday I worked out that I have seen Town play away at the stadiums of 46 different clubs (only 41 of whom are in the present top 4 divisions). I have also seen games not involving the Town at 7 other different grounds. I might set myself the target of seeing Town play at say another 20 grounds after I retire. I am sure some of you guys can beat that but even if you cannot (and I may have age on my side) I would be interested to hear your scores.

My best season was in the conference. Still have good memories of the away trip to forest green. Walking up the hill to a rather busy ground full of friendly locals and food was in a burger van with a portable metal security fence as divider.

Hopelessly outclassed in this regard, I've been to away games at Accrington, Morecambe, Vale, Hereford, Doncaster, Wimbledon, Macclesfield, Coventry and that's it. Partly due to me reigning in and having only done two in the last 18 months to save some money and partly due to the fact I'm still 17 and need transport! Trains are too bloomin expensive when you don't have a job to get one every other week. Hopefully next year, when I'm off to Uni I'll get to a few more as some of them will be more like home games. Worst case scenario (well, from a football point of view) is that I end up going to Durham if we stay up. Nearest game for me then would be, what, Carlisle or Bradford, about 2 hours? At least if we went down I'd have Hartlepool a bit closer.

    Lenny,
That's pretty impressive for a 17 year old - I had not been much further than Walsall away at your age! I may be a frequent visitor to Durham Uni also over the next few years as my daughter has an offer from them.

I stayed in accommodation at Durham Uni a good few years back when I did the Great North Run. Lovely looking place from what I remember

Really hope to get into Durham. Tell your daughter good luck, they certainly ask for a lot!
