Due to my twin boys been born 20 months ago i havent been to as many games as id have liked to since.
Id love to get to an away match this season but i understand tickets are like Gold dust and work on a points system.

Any ideas on how i could get one? Thanks.

If you name the match, you'd really like to go to, I'll sort one out for you as long as it's not Newcastle ......

Bear in mind as well Tees, that wonderful as our away following is, we only fully sell out about 2/3 of the away games.

We don't send many back, but for most games I understand there's around 80-100 returned (backed up by the away games I've been to and the small spaces).

Dodgy strategy tbh, I was at the WBA ticket office at 2.30, asking for returns, and there was nowt.

I was really lucky, along with my years of experience, to get in.

I was outside the ticket office and negotiating with various Baggies when a lad came along with a freebie for the West Stand.

I grabbed it, went to the away end, blagged my way through the gates then did a 'two in one turnstile' routine with a lad I'd never met before.

When I got in a few lads, I didn't know, let me squeeze into their row ....... class people Sunderland supporters <ok>

I've only ever failed once to get into a match/gig/world cup/private party in 40 years.

That was Villa away when 15,000 turned up for an end of season 'promotion match' and the gates were locked ..... still hurts <doh>
