    Confirmed....

Canny move by Spurs, i think...

Former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has been appointed new manager of Tottenham Hotspur, three weeks after Harry Redknapp was sacked.
Villas-Boas, 34, returns to football on a three-year contract less than four months after his dismissal at Chelsea.
Former France coach Laurent Blanc, Wigan's Roberto Martinez, Fabio Capello and former Spurs striker Jurgen Klinsmann were linked with the post.
But Tottenham have opted for ex-Porto boss Villas-Boas to replace Redknapp.

It's one of those that could go either way.

Pressure will be on straight away. First 5 games are crucial for him

He's a good manager. But at Chelski with the sack happy oligarch he wasn't given a chance. He tried to change the team and bring in youth, but when you go up against lampard and that **** terry, they will basically turn the dressing room against you. Which happened.

Droppy jaws off field antics cost him his job. Spurs won't suffer with AVB in charge imo. Maybe a slight dip in form while he changes things around, but they will bounce back.

Levy is no mug and I suspect he will have the patience to endure any changes AVB wants to make. I hope desperately that he succeeds otherwise Redknapp's ghost writers will be after him.
