yeah could be right. I did think he had a good eye for talent, from his scouting days. Well one thing is for sure, I feel sorry for Robby over these next couple of months!
Yup, although I read a while ago that he was thinking of moving on at the end of the year...not sure if that was to do with AVB or as someone mentioned earlier that he didn't get on with the players? Just read that GFZ is being sounded out to help him out, but who knows if that is true or not...might be nice for a couple of months
Players have to much power in the game now. After all weren't these the same players who finished runners up last season. So whats gone wrong can't be all the managers fault, the players have aslso to shoulder some of the blame. After all did the players play to get AVB the sack, only now will the results under the new temp manager. If the results do change then it will be come to light that the players wanted AVB out of the club.
He obviously didn't expect we'd play so badly but when you call in senior pro's & tell them their time is up & expect them to then go out & give it their all, you'd be off your rocker. Also, when you try and replace a legend (Lamps) with a useless twat (Meireles) and send one of the best prospects around out on loan (McEachran) people are bound to start asking if you know what the **** you're doing!
