"My Husband & I (Greek chap, foot in mouth), support Royal Southampton Football Club" You may get up..........
"I was possibly the greatest Welshman ever to play for Southampton, at least until that young Bale boyo came along".
I seem to remember her Majesty demonstrated her avid support and love for our football club by expressing her wish to attend the 1976 cup final so that she could see her favourite team play and then proudly present them with the cup. I understand her favourite player was a certain Mr. Channon whom she admired not only for his footballing genius but also for his love of horses. I also am given to understand that after shaking all the Saints players' hands she replaced her right hand glove with another so that the original could be put in a glass case and placed in a prominent place at the Palace so she could show it off to all her visitors. This is the case at Buckingham Palace: I know she doesn't like our neighbours for she has refused to attend any game involving them.
I've ordered my Army to wear the Royal Southampton Football Club kit. They are allowed to phase it in slowly........ please log in to view this image
They can phase the kit in slowly. First the sash, next the shorts. Well spotted Godders, shows were you were looking........
As the nun said when she saw the picture "Oh it's gruesome." and when she looked the secend time she said "Oh look it just grewsome more."
Have you seen all of his medals? The Queen has her coat on but I don't think this photograph was taken on a particularly cold day. Or perhaps it was and Mrs Godders needs to revise her opinion of the chaps "credentials".
