You have a club there called Garage. Has anyone ever been. Just that they now have one in Aberdeen. Maybe youve been there Venom?

Well it just so happens that The Stranglers are playing at the Aberdeen one next March.

    Any good/bad reviews.

Alternatively I may come down to see them at O2 Glasgow, great venue, although not as good as The Apollo was.

The Garage is ****ing ****e unless you're a student. Even then it's probably ****e.

The O2 as in the O2 academy? Pretty ****e venue old man.

Although I've yet to see a bad gig there, probably because I only go to see good bands though <ok>

Garage is better for gigs than it is as a nightclub.

Still a bit pish, though - not been in years but the PA used to be pretty naff.

With all due respect ER. Would a man of your vintage not be better served dressing up as a wee robot and dancing round the living room to your Gary Numan records?

That cowardly 60 year old man who avoided his national service?

No, I used to quite like the Stranglers ER. I stopped listening when Cornwell left though. I saw them a couple of times. I remember one gig at the old Apollo in Glasgow where the support act was a clantily dressed female dancing about with a guy dressed as an enormous cock. She was spraying shaving foam from the top of it. It must have been symbollic or something. I have a feeling that that was one of the last ever gigs there before it shut down back in 84. The band were great though.
