In reply to why were schoolend lower front row seats covered ? looked really weird, we aint done that before have we? Was this because they were in missile range of the Bolton supporter on the higher level?
The attendance 15,195. To be honest though the place looked pretty full to me, and I couldn't see many empty seats. I think that the new TV gantry and the covered seats Roller refers to must have lowered our capacity quite a bit. Plus, I think Bolton brought along about 12 supporters. With our prices I can't blame them though.
missiles, yeah probably is the reason, although that wasnt a rule in championship. If so, why in Prem ? maybe its like an EU directive like the farmers have for keeping fields "unused" ............ Tango going to apply for a grant from Brussels for keeping seats empty
We brought 700 fans apparently, which is decent when you think about the amount you charged to see the match.
We can only apologise for the prices. Just be grateful you only have to come once in the season (and probably not next season)
The prices were the only thing that put me off going Now I regret not going, and I know it's because of your owners, so no hard feelings Though I expect there to be some from top-4 club's fans when you charge them 50 odd quid.
15,000 !! I couldn't believe this when I saw it, but reading the thread it seems you have some pricing problems. I remember this happening the other season when some Supporters Clubs refused to go to Loftus Road. I went there last year, but was appalled by the facilities, and the legroom in the away end is inadequate for anybody over 5' 4" tall. On the basis of the facilities offered (including restricted views) the powers that be should be charging much lower prices. I do not see the sense in a policy which even reduces the away fans' attendance.
Yes, it's crazy, but is sadly only one example of our blinkered board not really understanding the game or the fans. We're expected to pay First Class British Airways fares for a sub-Ryan Air experience. That's the way it is at Loftus Road at the moment.
There are also rules against changing you prices to away fans (not home) during the season. We should know, we've tried to break them before!
I think it is more restricting than that. We will have set the away ticket price at a mere(!) £50. This then can not be exceded during the season.
If the anticipated Asian partnership replaces the Goons, it'll be interesting to see what they do with ticket pricing. Difficult to reduce individual matchday ticket prices without shortchanging the season ticket holders
Sorry to hear about the silly pricing policy you have. Basically if you support QPR you have to work in the city to buy a ticket at those prices. What ever happened to this being a working mans game?
