Most people here seem to want an attacking midfielder in the transfer window and though its just instinct i think we will buy one. Just wondering which potential target most here would prefer. We've been linked with several though i've put together a list of which whom we've been linked with in the past and probably within our price range. Which one would you guys prefer. I may have missed out many so feel free to add your own. I've put videos wherever possible. In no particular order:

    1) Adam Maher

    2) Lucas Moura

    3) Alan Dzagoev

    9) Lewis Holtby

Sessegnon would do well for you guys. 6 goals and 9 assists in 24 apps is not to be taken lightly.

Marvin Martin looks a quality player, and I think he would flourish under wenger, for me he would be a typical wenger signing, I believe we tried to get him at the beginning of the season. Not sure what he would cost, the transfer market seems to be ridiculous at present, player seems to be well over valued by every club, with only the mega rich able to buy. Look at the whole tevez saga, and the rooney saga last season, there only at their clubs because there are only 2 or 3 clubs in the world that can afford to have them.

Anyway, back to my original thought, marvin Martin would be my choice.

There's something about Eriksen. Ronaldinhoesque mind games on the opponents. His video was the best to watch, despite Martin's goals.

Holy crap Eriksen is like some kind of two-footed Rivaldo/Zidane hybrid. I know youtube videos are always going to inflate ability, but 39 games, 7 goals and 18 assists for Ajax is not bad, and 2 international goals already. Just turned 20 too.

Christian eriksen certainly looks good and we were linked with him about a week ago by one site but it seems Manu are leading the chase...gonna be a shame really bcse he would do well for them I think.

Well bids can be hijacked, it'd feel oh so sweet after they took Ronaldo and Phil Jones from under our noses.

    In my order of preference.

    1.Mario Goetze
    2.Yoan Gourcuff
    3.Christian Erikson

I think buying a potentially World Class midfielder could be a waiste seeing as we already have Wilshere and Chamberlain.

They'll never be another Zidane but some of the stuff Gourcuff does is incredibly Zidane esq, install a work rate in him and he'd be a world beater for you guys.

bit of a gamble though with his injury record and like you said his work ethic though he may probably be a cheaper option.

If I was to base my opinion on the videos alone, I'd run a mile from Gourcuff. That video really doesn't showcase him at all.

You have missed out ben arfa, wenger has said that he is one of the best technical players to come out of france in a long time and i think he is pure class and has shown in recent weeks after his injury that he can play in the epl, also goetze obviously but i'm unsure if we will get him, maybe eriksson but only if united aren't interested in him and also i think we should buy sessengnon along with one of those 3 because he can also play on the wings.

Sessegnon is a better player than I've wanted to believe him to be, same Dempsey. Perhaps their already playing in EPL has caused me to underestimate their respective abilities. Not sure either is the schemer I want, but, perhaps in Diaby, Rosicky & Wilshere we have those bases covered & we need more goals from Midfield.
