http://www.independent.ie/sport/soc...-earns-right-to-impress-his-own-3290585.html? Sorry; can't do links properly; but it looks like Wes is going to get a real chance on Wednesday, and Dublin can't wait.
Excellent piece on an excellent (if under the radar for a decade) player. I'm hoping there's a stream to the RoI v Greece match so I can watch Trappa eat humble pie
Link works a treat gg and the feet Of Wes are just itching to show, All Ireland, the fill Of his luscious skill As all us here have got to know. Go Wes!
Just being a realist. You have another prediction? I thought Villa were at least going to get something on Saturday but United steam rollered them in the last half hour.It will be interesting to see how many predict a result.Of course I would love to see a win,or even a draw.Just don't see it happening though.
it's possible hughton will use the opportunity to change the line up, give wes a rest and put an extra man up front (unlikely!) or an extra man in midfield against United.
Just having a bit of a josh there mate! No offence meant! Out of interest, when did you think Villa were going to get something out of the game, before kick off or after they went 2 nil up? Before the game I would have gone for Man U winning 2-0! A win is not impossible, but being realistic and as you've put me on the spot, 2-2. Holty always scores against the big boys, so I'm hoping for a brace from him!
I had been out,put the scores on the telly and saw that they were 2-0 up.Absent mindedly thinking that it was almost into injury time I thought that Lambert had cracked it.When I realised there was forty minutes left to play I thought United would probably come back.
on that match, did people enjoy lambert doing a paulo di canio, running along the line celebrating when weinmann scored the second?
I'm going to stir up controversy here, but I actually felt a bit sorry for him as they went from 2-0 to 2-1,to 2-2 to 2-3. It was the inevitability of it once United got going.Villa actually had an excellent chance themselves on 85minutes to make it 3-2.
He's been called up only for Trapatonni to go back to 4-4-2 and start him on the bench http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20288794
Knowing Trapatoni he'll probably give him five minutes on the right wing and then say he wasn't good enough and was right not to pick him
I think that if they built a team around the creativity of Wes they would be very surprised at the results.
