Great result - could have been horribly wrong. And whilst I have been as curmudgeonly as anyone about Bournemouth, credit to them for such a comeback - if we keep going as we are their results won't be of any consequence to us anyway!
Great result that - if you want to be mid table you need to pick up points against sides at the bottom unless you are going to join them - we did just that today without being at our best and without Gomes for the end
I am told that Deeney's goal was the first time we have scored with a header. Anyone want to dispute that?
According to the BBC that is true - I can't recall any other headed goal this season. On another matter, continuing last season's curse of not doing well against the better teams, after 14 games the 5 games that we have lost this season have been to 5 of the top 6 clubs in the PL.
Today did seem a bit of a blast from the past (championship), I'm sure QSF will be drumming in this week that as we focus more on the attack it doesn't excuse us losing shape and structure at the back... January window is going to be interesting!!!
I am a realist, but I look at the table tonight and see we are closer to a Champions League place than a relegation one.
