Let's be fair though, RVP ****ed off because although he won trophies with Arsenal he was getting on and got desperate for more. Campbell proved that he needed to move from a club that had no hope in hell of winning anything when his career was in it's early stages and he made the right move to a much bigger and more successful club, where his bravery for crossing the NL divide was rewarded and as you say, he became an Arsenal legend. Bale, who has indicated before that he would consider a move away from spurs if they didn't qualify for CL football is probably weighing up his options as we speak. He could play for any one of the top European teams so the pick is his. You can't expect a top player like that to only ever play in the Europa league, that would be a waste of his talent and it would be wrong of Spurs to hold him hostage as they did with Modric.

Sol Campbell represents EVERYTHING that is wrong in football today...a self serving lying twat who thinks of nothing other than himself...as for being a legend....most gooners I know think he was a great footballer but as a person think he was a piece of ****. He was worse than Adebayor; Cole; RVP and Nasri...at least they didn't lie and your club got money for them...as for him being the best CB in our history...I don't think he was .... a fantastic player but not the best. Now I am off to throw some more darts at my 1999 poster of him lifting the Carling cup for us at wembley
Or like how Arsenal held Fabregas hostage? The club took advantage of his goodwill not trying to force a move in order so that you could keep hold of him for an extra couple of seasons. When your captain is paying his own money so that he can leave you know you're in trouble
AS for judas being our best C/B,Ledley King and Mike England would have ran ring's round him,both were much better C/B's.
Anyone who claims ledley king was better than sol Campbell is completely blinkered, yes you can claim had he not had his injury problems he may have been better, but it is all hypothetical. 99% of neutral fans say that Campbell was better, and that king was good but never reached his potential due to injury. How anyone can claim a guy that spent at least half his career in the physio room to be a better CB than campbell is beyond me, and show their bias.
