I hate singling players out and it wasn't just him that didn't perform last night but is anyone else concerned? Ash has been average at best these past couple of months (OK was absent for 1 or 2 games with a virus), but in particular over the last few games he has been particularly poor. Made to look very ordinary v Everton. In the Toon game he was out of position for Cisse's first and just outclassed for his second. Last night - where do I start? Thank god for Caulker or it could've been 6.

I rate Ash. Our defensive record up until recently was up there with the best in the league and that's in no small part down to his excellent partnership with Caulker. It's no coincidence that his obvious dip in form has seen us ship goals for fun.

Is he not as good as we thought? Is he believing the hype linking him with a big move? Is it just a blip and his class will tell in the end? Having played all those games is he simply knackered?

Something's not right with him imo.

    Thoughts?

I'm with Dai on this, because it's clear to me our players think the season is over, and job done, when it isn't! Minds miles away on some tropical island when their still in work, to me sums things up, as for Williams, he has been poor since his virus infection, but I wish Williams and Graham spent less time on distractions like Twitter, and focus on their game right up till the end. Of all teams to roll over for, QPR should not have been the one, and roll over we did, there is history between us and QPR, which should have made the difference yesterday, but that gutless performance against a poor QPR, was unforgivable, and was summed up in two texts, I had from my son last night, who watched the game down town, "I hate Barton" "I hate QPR". I hope I never see us play that poor again, ever, and I hope QPR stay up, so that we can put this right next season!......................<ok>

I've also clocked some arrogance from QPR posters too, who have been very ungracious in their victory, and I can see now why so many Norwich boys despise QPR! They have clearly not learnt any lessons of humility from propping up the table all season, so maybe another season at the bottom next year will do them good, some one must replace Wolves!!......................

There have been a few decent posts from QPR fans Phill but you're right in that some have been giving it large, although our team's performance has asked for that I suppose.

I still think they'll struggle. Look at their run-in. I'd much rather Wigan stay up - or anyone else for that matter.

Breezy: is "Wah" Canadian for "I can't think of anything constructive to say"? Haven't a clue what you're intending to convey.

The "Wah " was a general statement toward the general feeling of harshness toward the team on here . Very few thought we would even get 39 points at the start but here we are with 39 with 5 to play . Most are focused on the " Four Game " losing streak against what a lot of folks might call the 4 most on form teams there are . " The Traveling Goalposts " gang should look at the big picture for the season instead of going into meltdown after every loss , even if there in a row .

So you think Ash has done OK then. You're entitled to your opinion.

But if you watched last night's game you can't be satisfied with our performance surely? Or Williams's. Can you?

Yes it is touch and go Knackered, and I wouldn't put money on QPR staying up, they have a difficult run in, and most of those teams will take them to task! By the way, I'm not a Mark Hughes fan, so would prefer Wigan to stay up over QPR! Bobby brown shoes has got them playing well of late!...................

Yesterday's gone , there's only Saturday now . Half full & raring to go . If you & others want to finger point over a past solitary half of away football against a team that beat a couple of top 4 teams there last couple of home games after we have 33 full games in the books ... enjoy !

New training facility & academy in the near future , no debt , almost assured another season in the Premier with probably a bit more money to spend on the squad . Have a look at the whole view without the blinders on 99 .

It's not just about the game just gone. It's about the ugly trend down that it was the ugliest and latest part of.. A trend that must get reversed on Saturday but a trend that makes you hesitate to bet it will.

Gary Monk took a pasting for his performance against Spurs, but Williams performance of late have been VERY poor. His positioning was iffy against Newcastle he's lost all confidence going forward. He now leaves this to Caulker to do.

Probably agree, but Rodgers always said players are allowed to express themselves. Just hope he gives them a good kick up the ass and stop faffing around and win a bloody game, so we can all bloody relax.

Yesterday I said that the Blackburn match was now going to be an exciting game - if were in made table safety it would be too boring. One day later I have had enough. Lets get the win and finish this nonsense!!

A result against Blackburn and the previous games will be forgotten , although another side fighting against relegation I would be disappointed if we didn't win that one Although they beat us I can't see a similar result this time I watched them against a very poor Liverpool side and they ran out of steam against ten men . chill out Tatey in for Ash & Situ in for Joey:smiley:
