I wonder if the match will be billed as a relegation battle. We may even get 3 points from this one. It's often the games you're not expected to win that you end up winning.

I've never known a team to be relegated in September.

We shall see how things pan out with the gunners, I have a feeling we will get something out of the Chelsea game though, I am sure Brendan and Sinclair will love that ;)

Arsenal were badly rolled over on Saturday and had little to offer. Same with Spurs. Both results put our 4-0 loss to Man City into a different perspective - perhaps not such a bad loss after all. Both Manchester clubs are playing cracking football. We should have gotten more out of both of our last two games. We now have an additional two weeks to get players working together; although we will be missing players on international duty. If we're going to take advantage of Arsenal, this would be the time and I think we could go in there and take all of the points.

Nah, you have to expect a backlash from Arsenal?

You bet there'll be a backlash - and they've got two weeks to get their injured players back. We won't be playing the same side that lost to Man Utd, either in attitude or personnel, that's for sure. Hope Buck is getting our lads up for it.

They won't struggle. Arsenal were without 8 of their 1st choice team and Wenger is already strengthening by using some of the Nasri and Fabregas money. The home fans will demand - and most likely get - a very good response so you're very very wrong if you think it's a good time to play them. Quite the reverse imo.

Most of us would have this down as an away loss at the start of the season and losing two key players doesn't change my opinion. Whereas I accept that this is not the Arsenal of old we will do really well to get anything out of the game. Needless to say I'm hoping for the best.

Nor me, but the press usually bill matches between bottom six as a relegation battle, even if the match in question won't decide the issue.

We had better be up for this, big time!! Wenger says in today's press: "We can only apologise and come back with strength and desire against Swansea". I think a tough game has become even tougher.

However, we also received some serious motivation from Van Persie. Another article (Sun) stated: Now Van Persie has tempted fate by suggesting Arsenal's next opponents will be easy. He said, "We've got Swansea at home in two weeks, which is a good opponent. I look forward to that".

I hope Buck pins this article to the changing room door for the next two weeks so the lads see it on a daily basis. I hope this will annoy them sufficiently to go to the Emirates and show VP & Co that we are not going to roll over for them or any other team in the Premier League. Yes, we might still lose but, before we do, we should make sure that we make them sweat blood for anything they get.

I hate MANU, they have done us no favours here, but the bottom line is whether or not they get new faces in, Wilshere won't be playing, and VP is not a prolific striker, and Ramsey will struggle against our midfield, let's hope Wenger goes with 4-3-3 again!..............

Well we should go into every game to win, it's 11 against 11 at the end of the day, they are not supermen and should not be treated as such, in fact there should be no respect shown at all, just get stuck in and play our game as if it was another championship club.
