I see the racist card is being played early here. The ref made a mistake............simple as that. No need for any reference to racism. However, what I don't understand is why the 4th official didn't tell the ref that he'd sent the wrong player off and got him to change the decision.

WTF!!? Just because the ref has mixed up two people that happen to be black, doesn't automatically meant hat he's a racist, which is being inferred on a couple of threads. That's all I'm saying on this matter, as I know how it will go!! FFS!!
You read it wrong mate Last 2 lines were meant for you..nothing else. I cdont see them as similar. Perhaps if Nigel Pearson & Vinnie Jones were side by side i could argue that they look so similar id could confuse them? Not gonna bother either as the ref is white so escapes the predudice rennie got !

Why was the player sent off, it can't be for hand ball because he wasn't denying a goalscoring opportunity because the ball was going wide. They should appeal as that's wrong according to the law.
