You are correct Trevor, as usual. The driver would be safe as long as he stays in the cab which acts as a faraday cage. If he tries to leave the cab then he's deader than disco.
That has spoiled it, a bit. I am still owed for ten days labouring I did in the 1980s, some **** from South London. Often dreamt of turning up at one of his jobs and causing carnage, wish I’d had the bollocks at the time; would look a bit silly now though.

There's another issue here that's been overlooked,the lads were probably doing the snag list before job signed off and final payment made and if that's the case nobody is going to get paid,just a thought.
The contractor and client should have insurance to pay for the criminal damage. The driver of the digger is now saying he's mental and hadn't been able to get treatment for 6 weeks. I suspect he will break down and cry and be let off.
