Who will, Travelodge? I think it'd be a tough gig for their best lawyer to prove it was the Subbies fault.

I've been on building sites where I never got paid on time, it's par for the course as a subbie.

I once did a job for a mob from Livingston who promised me x amount. On the day the job was supposed to finish they sent one of their chargehands on site in the morning with cash which was Y amount. Two thirds of what was promised. The rest of the day was spent dismantling what had been done until I left the site with two thirds of the work done.

The chargehand threatened to call the police.

"And say what you you tit, there's a guy here taking down his work"

    Cùnts.

I agree, its an occupational hazard, as Mick says espesh when it's cash in hand. Some chancer tried to rip off my son last year and I just told him to pick up his tools and leave him to it, an unfinished dry stone wall. Its still unfinished to this day but it would have served no purpose for my lad to take it down, would have just been more work.

You are correct it is par for the course and that's the problem. Companies shaft workers because they get away with it. I've been ripped off more times than I care to remember. Putting it down to experience gets very old very quick.

Hang the lot of them I say.

When I saw that clip earlier I thought it was heading for him electrocuting himself, now that would have been funny.
