I can't remember the last time I had good cause to watch MOTD :undecided:

Well at least it's saved me from having to listen to the unctuous Lineker.

Just popped on to wish you lot a Happy Christmas .... used to get on with some of the lads on here but it all seems so quiet these days.

I've not looked in for quite some time so I was surprised to see the last 3 matchday threads on the front page tbh.

Anyway, all the best to you all for Christmas and the New Year.

The only stream I got yesterday was one pouring out of my bathroom roof when one of my drains blocked during a torrential spell of rain so missed the game.
On face if it 1-0 to Arsenal sounds a lot better than previous seasons but sort of sums up our problems. At full strength we can defend well even against the better teams but our lack of attacking talent shows up against teams we should be competing with. As we try and play a more open game we also start to give silly goals away.
Think Rafa needs to go back to what worked early on and not be afraid to pick up a 0-0 against even the poor teams to at least give the players a bit of confidence.
He can start next week against West Ham please.

Today was mostly back to the early season system. We didn't have much of the ball (mostly because we passed it straight back to their players from the edge of our own box) but we were pretty solid defensively. It was similar with Everton in fairness. Today's result was about a lack of quality in attack rather than any errors by the manager.

Damned if we do we do, damned if we don't right now

Put 5 in midfield and with Lascelles back we look pretty solid, but lack of quality striker leaves us light up top.

Put two up front and we look better attacking wise, but then get overrun behind.

Thought Joselu did ok yesterday to be honest- won a lot of headers and knock downs, but Perez was never there to anticipate any of them, always on his heels or miles away - another one who seems to lack a football "brain"

Two sixteen-year-olds on the pitch for Hearts as they lead Celtic 3-0 in the SPL.

    Do we have any sixteen-year-olds?
