Botched clearance from Gillesphy hits another Argyle player and loops up for a brilliant volley home.

Swansea having all the possession although Ennis made himself a chance with a great touch.

Mickel Miller looking lively down the left.

    Not bad at all.

Played with only one recognised striker in the first half and limited Swansea to long range shots in the main. Conceded a bit of a cock up via Gillesphy but not much inside the danger zone. Ennis didn’t get a lot of support but made himself a nuisance never the less and nearly scored. Miller is quick & direct.

He brought on Jephcott and Hardie for Ennis in the second half although Jephcott spend most of his shift in a withdrawn position. I’m not quite sure what all of this means: have we abandoned two up front? Azaz also looked lively down the left with a good low cross and a shot.

Certainly it was a more even second half. It almost looked as though Schumacher deliberately tested out our ability to soak up pressure in the first half and to take the game to them in the second.

In any event, we got Hardie away just h to be once. He was forced a bit wide to the left but chipped it in from an angle. That’s Hardie for you.

A very good work out against a Championship side. Held our own pretty well and the newcomers started well.
