As stated above I am a Plymouth Argyle fan. We have been rumoured to be trying to sell Sam Togwell. I wanted to find out what your opinion was on him as he was on loan with you last season. Well done for staying up last season, hopefully you will have a better season this season (but not too well against us)
was not impressed by him personally - he had 2 games for us, got sent off and played poorly both times. However 2 games might not be the best way to judge him... best of luck next season! Also weve been rumoured to have been looking at a winger that you released (cant remember his name). any idea who he is? any opinion?
We have released 1 winger (Boco) and had one reject a contract (Gurreri). Boco was like a Fernando Torres signing; expected a lot because he has proved his quality before (Burton) but was a flop for us. He can also play in the number 10 role as well as the right wing. He was given plenty of chances but failed all apart from about 2 away games (which I didn't attend but that was the opinion of those who went). He is a proven player with 10 league goals for Accrington in the 2012/13 season. He was until recently captain of the Benin national team (Sessegnon of West Brim is now captain), known as "King of Benin" and has 48 caps. Gurreri rejected our contract offer. He is a utility player who can play the number 10 role, central mid, defensive mid, both wings, right wing back and full back. Not the most technically gifted but has a good work rate. To compare with a top flight player Gurreri is like what Ji Sung Park was like when he was at Man U
