Argentina have been exactly like Brazil, they have one good player and if he doesn't perform they are very poor. Germany could do to them what they did against Brazil.
Glad to see Holland booted out of the competition on penalties after Kruls behaviour against Costa Rica . Argentina fans and players showed the raw passion associated with football - great stuff. I think it'll be a cagey final - similair to last night. I don't mind who wins - but after beating Brazil 7-1 on their home patch the Germans deserve to.
Afraid I have to agree with that. Cillessen tried half heartedly to emulate him. Sorry Glam but you never had a chance... oops, I've said too much Poor game. Neither side deserve the final and it's hard to see past the Germans.
Well I wanted a Holland v Brazil final, so that was the kiss of death for both of them. I really don't want the Argies to win it (for all sorts of reasons) and I didn't want Germany to win it because they're arrogant enough already. However, Germany it now has to be and they do deserve something for that incredible performance against Brazil.
The only thing I was looking forward to in the Sweepstake was the eventual winner being able to dish out bans willy nilly until the start of the season....and who have we got in the final? Valley and Swanselona! It should have been you roof! 'twould have amused me for the rest of the summer.
I cant stand Argentina and never want them to win and hope they get stuffed in the final. Mind you i have German family (In-Laws) who i am visiting in August and dont know whether I will be able to deal with their gloating either.
