Interviewing Steve Cotterill for the managers job?

Bet Pompey can't believe their luck.

Kevin McDonald and Mark Robins also interviewed (know which of them I would rather have!!)

Forest obviously trying to get things done on the cheap again! Wonder why Keane and O'Neill aren't being considered??

Definitely trying to do it on the cheap although Cotterill's exit from Pompey will require compensation!

O'Neill will be the Sunderland manager soon IMO

Cotterill is now a massive favourite with the bookies and it's being reported that he's there for an interview in the local rags in both Pompey and Nottingham.

To be fair he didn't do too bad last season when they could only name or 2 or 3 subs.

I cannot believe that they have not gone for Shaun O'Driscoll.

He even has a fantastic record of working on a tight budget.

I thought Florist didn't want to pay any compensation for a new manager?? Cotterill has only been there since June 2010, having signed a 3 year contract so I presume the compensation would be fairly high?? With Robins and MacDonald also being reported to being interviewed aren't they the more likely candidates?

They wouldn't go far wrong with Robins Barnsley played good football under his guidance. I actually was at the game when Robins scored the winner for Man U against Forest effectively saving SAFs career

Cotteril isn't bad, but he's really over rated in the world of football management imo. He's been touted as one of these young and upcoming managers that clubs are likely to take risks on (a bit like Martinez at wigan) despite the fact they've only done ok at best. No way would Forest go for O'Niell. He left Villa after complaining about lack of investment, never mind going to Forest and having bugger all to spend...
