The FA's rules allow costs to be awarded against either party. If the Tribunal think Assem Allam is wasting its time they may tell him to pay the FA's costs as well as his own.
All he has to do is withdraw from the FA and he can call the club what he wants. If he wants to be a member of the FA he has to accept the rules, all of them, which includes those on name changes. If the FA haven't followed their own rule book or acted unfairly against him he has a case. If they haven't, he doesn't. If the HDM article was right it seems he's relying on how two non-league teams were treated. I wrote several long pieces on CI about the issues and what's involved. There's four pages to go through but it does include a look at the HDM article. Here's the link if you're interested http://www.hullcityindependent.net/?page=forum&forum_id=8&thread_id=19566
No need to apologise for being passionate about YOUR club, passionate and principled is fine by me. It's the Lilly livered c**ksuckers that eat the chairmanship sh**e that get my goat. Jesus, just stopped myself, felt another rant coming on then! Ps we're all praying brother Erik
Thanks Obadiah - well researched article & excellent analysis of the issue. Clarifies things well. AA should stop trying to fit a "Spirit of Ecstasy" ornament on a Lada and expect to end up with a Rolls Royce ! Stick with the strategy he and Bruce are following, which seems to be heading in the right direction anyway.
I'm not sure Erik whether that puts him slightly in front, or slightly behind Redknapp, in the biggest **** in football. Not forgetting the bus driver at Rotherham either.
