In an interview Harry said that the reason we lost was because we lacked pace?

Maybe he should look on his bench!!!!!!

Yeah we did, very much so, but on the bench we had Traore, Isla, Hoilett and Phillips.

Harry seems to be becoming very adept at opening his mouth and putting his foot in it...

It makes me wonder whether Harry discuss's team selection with the coaches, surely one of them could have seen pre match that the team was set up to fail, and should have mentioned it to Harry.

It's baffling to me, but then I'm only a fan.

Didn't he have a falling out with Bond last year because he refused to tell his coaches the starting 11 until a couple of hours before kick off, and Bond said he couldn't prepare the team properly? Probably made up gossip.

I heard that as well. Thinking about it, It's not often you see Harry, Bond, Jorden talking together is it? Other than sitting next to each other on the bench. Does Bond still drive Harry to work? Like he used too.

We may of lacked pace but it's not just that. We also lack anyone other than Austin who can score goals. When was the last time a defender scored from a set piece or a midfielder chipped in?

We're in the same situation as last season. Except that you can't get away with it as this level like we did last time.

As far as I'm aware without checking, it's only Austin, Vargas and Kranjcar that have put the ball in the back of the onion bag for us.

I'm not too sure that Phillips, Hoilett and Traore can cut it at this level. That's why they are on the bench. Harry tried to nick a draw yesterday playing a solid but unimaginative midfield. He nearly got away with it, but one piece of good fortune befell Newcastle and they got the points. On the other hand we failed to create one clear goal scoring opportunity.

Leroy Fer should be our Sissokho but he's getting played out of position wide left. We need to either play two in the middle of midfield of Fer, Henry, Sandro or Barton. Not all four. The width should come from Young ( Traore ) and Isla, not Hoilett or Phillips.

I knew something didn't feel right when I posted that.

Why don't you post a OT thread on film stars that you once liked but don't hear of any more, or pop stars or old footballers that were once on our radar but are now painters and decorators or something? I'll back you up.

Is he still going on about Remy leaving

FFS..everybody knew it was coming, surely he must have. Evemn if he had stayed we'd still be short 1 striker.

Not blessed with pace...I'd like to se a ace between Yun, Hoillet, Traore and the Chillean lads....<doh>

Ha! He's a wine waiter at the events venue at the National Motorcycle Museum - on a 14 hour shift at a big fat Greek wedding today, Usually its Sikh or Muslim weddings, massive affairs with up to 500 guests. When he's not there he's serving behind a bar somewhere, and when he's not doing that he's propping a bar up.

I daren't even look at that Redknapp clip, I've reached a zen like state of tranquility on him as long as I don't see or hear him.

Apparently some really are dry (they still get through the Vimto, on which they doubtless pay corkage), but quite a few aren't (though the ladies aren't allowed a drink) and they don't have a problem with non Muslim guests having a tipple. But the Sikh ones are wild - usually start with a bottle each of scotch, brandy and vodka on each table and take it from there.
