Ok....firstly....RTID, absolutely no need to apologies mate. I don't see this situation as a "I was right, you were wrong" thing. We all love the club and all want what's best.
Secondly....let's not fall out with eachother over ifs and buts. Bob was obviously, how shall we say, "a bit worse for wear" last night and understandably pissed off.

There's no winners in this.....we're ALL losing at the moment!

Well said, Bob - apart from the last bit! - we'll all have different views at to how to proceed - the spotlight has turned from the manager to the owners now. If Hughes is replaced by a good prospect, fine. If, as I read today, TF intends to keep Hughes to relegation and beyond, he needs to explain that decision to us, and the Mittals need to be on board. Don't see much of them these days

I think the silence from bhatia speaks volumes. I totally understand the need for stability as it seems like one step forward, two back at the moment!

    I agree col.

Next thing we'll be hearing on the terraces is 'we want our rangers back' or 'Gigi de Canio, bernie & flavio' in some ironic context or other

There was a time when we looked like getting better and had those good performances. If we'd had the good luck and won those games, we may be playing a very different quality of football and showing enthusiasm. But it's past it now and MH just hasn't done enough. There aren't excuses, he has to command the players and get them performing.

He deserves to lose the job purely on the fact that he's never won an away game for us!!

Yes, there is still that 'what if?'. What if the offside goal from Gunners was not allowed etc.

The more I think about, the more I think it was the Reading game where it changed for most of us. There was some element of bad luck in that game - I still don't quite know how we managed to lose that game!!

    All spilt milk now.

Hughes out asap please and whoever The board deems fit to replace him in asap.

So glad it is not my gazillions at stake.

    Cheers all.

No worries bob, love ya really!

This is the first time this season i feel at a loss as to where we're heading. I think the board must feel the same, as TF and co. sound pretty dumfounded. After every saturday i've had a rough idea of what they might say in London Call In during the week, and of the kind of articles that will be published on the official site over the following days. I really don't know where they can go from here, as there's not an awful lot to say other than "we're in big trouble".

I will add my apologies too! Guess we just wanted (as we all do im sure) stability, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet.

After the Briatore revolving door, ain't surprised it's taken a while for some of us to scream gaffer out at the first, second, third hints of trouble at mill.

Personally I've been yo-yo-ing for weeks. I want stability as much as anyone but yesterday left me in absolutely no doubt that we ain't coming out of this one without a serious change of direction.

Mark Hughes is NOT and never will be our man for any, let alone all seasons. The cynics were right from the outset. Him, his coaches and his agent are little more than blood-suckers with little or nothing of value brought to the table.

And for those (and loads of other) reasons, Hughes Out!

Funny thing is that those late comers joining the Hughes out club are still getting it wrong. We could have Jose Mourinho come in the door tomorrow and we'd still get stuffed on Saturday.

When the new manager comes in they need to be able to ride the crest of a new manager wave. If Arry was to be put in charge tomorrow we could go to United on Saturday and get stuffed 5-0 and the momentum is gone before it gets started. Get him in on Sundday morning and get through Tuesday with the positve effect Arry can hopefully bring.

TF has the best intentions as did the optimists who stuck with Hughes but backed the wrong horse.

Hughes has moved from to the 'Depression' phase having been through the 'Denial' then the 'Anger' and the 'Bargaining' stage. Hopefully Saturday will be the final stage: 'Acceptance' From there onwards and upwards hopefully (From the above it looks like Grifter has only moved from the Denial to the anger stage).
