6th November 2011: Portuguese midfielder Filipe da Costa says he had no problems in coming to an agreement with Bulgarian giants Levski Sofia, having recently left arch-rivals CSKA in bitter circumstances. Da Costa left CSKA last month, securing a release from the champions via the Arbitration commission of the Bulgarian Football Union, citing unpaid salaries as the reason for terminating his contract after just five months at the Army Stadium. The 24-year-old only arrived at CSKA last summer, having spent last season playing in the English third tier with Leeds United. Before that, the former Braga man had spent time in Italy with Reggiana, and in Greece with Ionikos and Larissa.
