Long story involving ASDA buying them out (I only found out on an internet forum) but the one I used to work in's now a Co-op but from what I've seen, public opinion favours NETTO but you know as well as I do about why they pulled out of the UK.
Didn't know they were no more. Years ago, a mate and I bought several crates of Netto's piss-weak lager (2.6% if my memory serves me correctly) at £1 for 4 cans and sold them at Glastonbury Festival for £1.50 each or 4 for £5. Made a tidy profit. Tried the same trick next year and got busted by security, the whole lot confiscated. Good old Netto.
I remeber that but if lager's less than 4.0% volume it's not worth drinking! Trouble is, I can't decide whether I like Stella or Kronenbourg better than the other.

Lidl is still going, might look in one day, some old bloke in Tesco told me they do bottled ales for £1 each, Fullers, Shepherd Neame, etc.
