Any information on Best?

Reported he came off with cramp but I've heard it could have been his hamstring.

Anyone have any further news?

P.S. God knows I never thought I'd say this but Best is required up front at the moment... even with his Shola-esque understanding of the offside rule (see first 45 minutes vs Arsenal for clarification).

It looked like cramp with Simpson helping him, then he went off.

God know's we need him.

 

He has withdrawn from the ROI squad and it is because of a hamstring injury.

The fact that we are missing Best really goes to show what a strange season it is.

 

Hopefully it's just a minor problem. If not, it's a great chance for Nile Ranger. It also makes us more desperate to get a free transfer in!

 

I think after Ranger's performance on Sat our next game should be Best and Ranger starting. He was immense. The only think missing from his performance was a goal.

 

We did look better with Ranger on.

Will Best be out for long?

 

We say that nearly every game Ranger plays now though lol. He really does need to get a goal soon.

 

Haha true! But its a matter of time! I think he seems to look more and more comfortable in the team now. I think if he starts against Blackburn he will get 2.

 

We do need Best. Hopefully he can get back for next weekend. Lovenkrands just hasn't played to his potential this season and has never really offered much when he has played. Ranger should definitely start the next game, definitely against a blackburn defence which isn't the fastest in the division.

I'd love Ranger to get a goal but unlike others on here, I wouldn't say he needs to get a goal soon. He's playing, making an impact and helping other people to score. If he keeps doing that, he'll be fine. He's still only 19 and he's making a big impact without even scoring. Whenever the goals start, he'll be a real complete forward, but until then I'm happy for him to keep contributing just like he has.
