    ANTON HAILS 'GREAT ACHIEVEMENT'

Anton Ferdinand insists the whole Club should be proud of last Sunday's 1-0 victory against arch-rivals Chelsea at Loftus Road.

Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk at our Half-Term Soccer School in Regents Park this afternoon, Ferdinand once again expressed his delight at the R's 1-0 win, commenting: "It was a really fine win over Chelsea.

"It was our first victory against our biggest rivals for many, many years and that's a great achievement for the Club as a whole."

Ferdinand also paid tribute to R's gaffer Neil Warnock following the triumph against Andre Villas-Boas' men, adding: "Playing under a Manager who wants the best for you and at the same time wants to get the best out of you goes a long way in football. It really helps.

"I think everyone can see I'm enjoying my football.

"I was pleased with my own performance against Chelsea."

Ferdinand continued: "The gaffer has been brilliant since the day I arrived at the Club.

"He makes every one of the lads go out on the pitch feeling ten feet tall.

"He gives us all great confidence and that's key in the Premier League.

"If you're not confident in the Premier League then there's no point in playing.

"When you've got a Manager who gives you that confidence and does it with such ease, you're already half way there."
