According to the site newsnow.leedsunited we have been linked to a Craig Davis (not David) of welsh side 'The New Saints' who is due to start a trial with us this week ! Reading in between the lines, if this is correct, the future looks bleak in regards to retaining the service's of snoddy if we are looking at another winger......
He's just a nobody who we've taken on trial. I wouldn't read much into it. Glad the club's been scouting some promising talent from the Home Nations, it's a largely untapped market.
We do need another winger IMO. Townsend is on loan, and it's doubtful we'll get him any longer than this season. Pugh is a utility player, whose best position isn't left wing. White is a left back. Sam's contract is up at the end of the season and he's okay but probably won't be retained. Nunez can't play there. So we've only really got 3 wingers atm - not including Rogers - and 2 are nearly certain to leave at the end of the season, with Snodgrass potentially leaving as well. This guy could be good, we'll wait and see.
