We all have our preferences, if Hollowhead became the next City manager after his years of insulting us and his barberous jibes, there is nothing immature about it, I would not go down the gate, it would be hypocritical of me, I dislike the man as a footballer, Warnock would be ok, my personal favourite would be Tisdale, ex City, West Countryman by choice, served his apprenticeship and plays good football..

Anyway here is another article to digest..

Wiz - I've always respected your opinion, so when you say something like that I take notice.

Not to go is a big shout - has he really done something that bad??

In all conflict eventually there has to be a bit of forgive and forget - it looks unlikely now that Holloway will be appointed so academic anyway, but if he was maybe we would need to look forward not back?

No warnock in that list strange-of that list holloway by a country mile.
Yes a few fans would be disgruntled, but start winning and climbing the table they would be very happy.
Even pulis when he arrived who i thought was a joke did not get fired at by all the stands.

As said many have crossed divides around the country, all we are interested in as fans is success for the club we support.

If Hollowhead became manager I would still go because I support Bristol City but I won't be happy about their choice of manger.
Plus I suspect Hollowhead would realise that even if he went on a 10 game winning 4-0 each time to a 1-0 loss the fans would turn quicker than a rattlesnake on him.

But as I said on other threads I didn't want SoD but still supported him. I felt everyone was basing this sexy football on the one game that Doncaster beat us.

I wouldn't expect Holloway to even consider the job. One song on a bus against all the abuse and invective he gets on this board?? Johnson kept out of the Rover's possibilities and Ollie will do the same if he is sensible.

If he does join I would piss myself at all the stinking Gasheads realising their hero is not as true as blue as they want to believe.

They would be crying in their dirty grey track suits and slip on shoes and cardigans

I wouldn't want a man who once said, " The only decent Bristol City fan is a dead one" as our manager and we don't need to take lessons from the fans of a football club who humiliated him, booed him and then sacked him for failure and now venerate him because he has since had some success with other clubs, some of them are nothing but a bunch of two faced hypocrites.

Every City fan is entitled to their own opinions with regard to Bristol City and I respect yours Red Robin but I don't agree with them all..

i think some gasheads would be cheesed off for sure. personally i wouldnt. in my time watching the gas, john wards 1st stint as manager is the best manager we have had. he then ended up managing city. dont think that many were too upset about it our end <ok>

some would be cheesed off but some would laugh their ass off each time city lost and would be saying agent ollie <laugh>
