Benno may be blessed with the goalscorers touch, but he got well and truely beaten up by the ugly tree.

Don't worry about the curse - he won it last month and we won 3 drew 2!

Yes SC - no curses, no bogey teams and no nemesis players this season - this side has completely re-written the rules.

Tewkes if the first curse didn't work in February they had to have another go to make it work properly. The Ides of March are truly upon us but thankfully the next game isn't until St Paddy's day when we will all kiss the shamrock for victory.

Driving back today, I remembered what I'd written and thought "Why didn't I keep that to myself?"...:emoticon-0101-sadsm

As I drove down the M11 today on the way to the match I told my wife that I feared if Hamer played today we were likely to get a good tonking, probably 4 past us. By half time my wife was telling me to keep my opinions to myself but I was to apoplectic to notice.

It was due and we will learn from it.

Completely agree with the first half of the sentence and hope to God you are right with the second.

I thought a lot of people left an didn't come back (or did they just go for an early beer). But no booing and we stayed to the end and clapped them off. So hats off one and all. Great support.
