This time it's Nivea, and involves David Seamen:

The acting is just so bad and so over the top, i'm sure they got paid a hefty good sum too for that **** acting performance.

I saw Ray Parlour wearing a crap jumper many years ago.

Perhaps you could start a thread to slag him off too? Hate for you to miss an opportunity to have a pop at our club and players, past or present.

I realise that in your rant, you did nothing to defend the atrocious acting in that advert, says it all. Seamen's a great goalkeeper, one of the best ever, however in acting, he's ****, if you consider that having a pop at our club and players then you can go sit on a stick.

Um ... that's kind of the point of the advert though, so you can't fault them on that basis ...?

Well that's the point, even that attempt is so bad, they are so obviously trying to be funny, and when you do that, it ends up being unfunny. To be funny or comedic, it has to be natural, not forced, and it sure as hell doesn't make it more funny because they're famous footballers which I'm sure was the point, saying, hey let's get 3 legends, and make them act funny, because that would look so swell and funny hehe.

If you want to see how bad the acting is, look at Les Ferdinand as Terry Venebales walks in all smiling, you can actually see Les smiling, breaking out of 'character'

Take out notebooks everyone. It's an acting lesson from the guy who thinks this isn't that bad. <laugh>

I said it's BAD, it's another **** acting performance, but not THAAAAT bad, in other words, it is STILL BAD.

Arsenal adverts have actually had some good acting, such as Wenger's reaction to Shezza kicking the ball on his car, that was good acting, even Shezza's reaction to that was brilliant and spot on.

But this nivea advert is a piece of trash when it comes to 'comedic' acting. plus my face doesn't burn right after I shave, I don't even put on any aftershave.

Lol. The advert was actually pretty good. I think the acting was suppose to be like that, hence it looked "bad" in your opinion. Remember, they are ex footballers and not budding Laurence Olivier wannabees....
