    Anelka will probably go back to France or to the USA for one last big pay off, he is 32 now.

    See Alex has also put in a transfer request, not sure if thats been accepted or not, but i would prefer Alex than Anelka (I dont think we have a hope of getting either though).

    we couldn't afford to play either Anelka's or Alex's wages and plus they would want european or champs league football unless they are after 1 last big pay day over in the usa or asia

    Tin hat on and bearing in mind the first job is to survive, Heskey wouldn't be a poor aquisition as a 3rd striker... Instead of worrying about hypothetical scenarios that may never happen, why don't you sit back and enjoy the ride?

    Klytus - "worrying about hypothetical scenarios that may never happen" - surely that is the nature of the boards - other than the results/performances all our conjecture is hypothetical, anyway, if I don't have anything to worry about I get worried!!

    Agree, Heskey would be a good third choice striker and Anelka a good first choice!!

    i think we should try to get Abonlahor,Albrighton and Barry Banhan from villa (they might want to come to there old manager) and junior hoillet,samba and yakubu from blackburn

    i know a few whouldnt come (barry,albrighton and yakubu) but we may aswell try
