In my opinion, and I have a feeling that many Leeds fans will agree with this. Lonergan has proven himself so far to be a better keeper than Schmeichel. There hasn't been a goal conceded he could of done anything about, and he's made more than a few cracking saves. Some cracking distribution that set up some very good counter attacks. Good catching. He is an all round great keeper.

schmeichel started well too but so far I like what I see in Lonergan, he gives me that bit more confidence, and I`m sure he gives his defence the same feeling which is worth its weight in gold.

Wait till Andy Beesley gets his hands on him and poisons his technique with his utterly **** goalkeeping methods which he ****ed up Schmeichel and Ankergren with. Lonergan's started off well, as expected, but I anticipate things can only get worse judging by the way our last two keepers have turned into shells of their former selves after exposure to our coaching staff.

I'm being very harsh, but I really don't see it as a coincidence how all our goalkeepers just deteriorate in this way. The only one we can hold responsible is the coach.

    :D

I hope Andy is strong willed and doesn't turn to **** like our Danish (C/K)aspers did. Maybe he won't. But the common thread is our coaching staff and their reverse Midas Touch. Just a sneaking suspicion.

I don't think goalkeeper coaching is within Grayson's purview. Though I do think Grayson should have them all sacked. Maybe he does want them sacked but Bates is happy with them, before you work that angle. We can't know either way and I'm not making any uninformed conclusions about Grayson's relationship with the coaching staff. I just think that they have failed the players time and time again and seem very unprofessional.

Andy's got a lot more experience than Kasper though and hopefully that will tell. From what I've read from Preston fans compared to what I've seen it seems their staff let him down big time.

With the exception of Graham Stack, I think all the keepers we've had under Beasley have performed well.

You think Ken Bates forced Grayson to have his old mate Dusty as a coach and he won't let him sack him?

Do you realise how ridiculous it is to think the head coach is doing a wonderful job and all the other coaches are poor and unprofessional?

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Andy Andy! Andy Andy Andy Andy Lonergan! he's done amazingly well so far. I am a little skeptical due to the great start Schmeichel had, but I'd have said Lonergan is more patient and more talented so I expect his good run will last longer. Also, he had a couple of games to get to this point, his game against Soton was average. I'm expecting amazing things from this guy and it's a good improvement over that (obviously) scum see you next tuesday.

wheeey what a ****in clown... mention the manager at every opportunity! Guessing you're one of the lot that thinks we shouldn't have got rid of Schmeichel, even tho he had an attidude problem which is being backed up by his allegiance and recent twitter behaviour... what a massive bellend. Him and you.

I just checked it, a first browse doesn't seem as bad as I'd heard but he's started posting about the dirty scum on twitter. We all knew he was a dirty scum fan really, probably why he was such a **** when he was with us.
You know, he once had his baby lad at a game and he was carrying him round, the kid had a Leeds shirt on. Little did many people notice, the poor little sod had that disgusting unfashionable ****e the scum call a "home kit" on underneath. Absolute disgrace.

I`m glad Leeds-18 has brought this up as I think Ian Miller is an absolute waste of space. Just watch his 1970`s era warm up pre-match warm up routines, the man is a dinosaur.

Why did he refuse to train with him though? Old Nige isnt doing too much now, get him in to oversee it.

Lonergran seems a lot more reliable. Especially at catching etc. than Kasper.
