I think he deserve a lot of praise for his role in the winning run. He scored that winner against West Ham to start the run and he has been superb since. King's qualities have never been doubted but he has been accused a lot in the past of letting the game pass him by but this season I think King has been superb when he has been in the team.

I think his international experience with Wales has shone through for us this season when ever he has played. So has King just improved this season or does his style of play more suited the premier league where its a lot less scrappy then the championship?

Agreed ... was noticeable that he took on the role of protector for Kasper at set pieces today, ensuring t Tossy Taylor was not able to impede Kasper as he kept trying to do ... I also think he bests complements Cambiasso in that middle pairing now ...l

Yep, 1st choice with EC was EC is so good it allows King to just play well and try and score without having TOO much responsibility

King has been superb in the last 4 games no doubt, but then again so has almost everyone that has played in them games.
I´m chuffed Vardy´s doing well in the prem. From being released by Sheff Weds (I think) to playing non-lge, then being given a chance to play in the championship & taking it, getting promoted & then to top it all having a pretty good 1st season in the prem. Fantastic.

now the papers say today that west brom and southampton want him - i think we need him as his closing down is a major part of our style

I almost started a thread about King a few weeks ago (don't think I did) along the lines of pity he has been with us so long and not taking the Prem chance when it came and not scoring in this league. So glad I didn't as he has been superb the last month. We now know how good Cambiasso is but it looked like no one was helping him. Drinkwater hadn't stepped up, Hammond did ok for a game or two and it was left to James to try and run the middle with Cambiasso. King has certainly had a big part to play in our improvement, not only with his goals but his all round involvement. Now played in three leagues and scored in all three for us, deserves some time in the limelight.

I always thought King would become better than he has. Very intelligent player and always gives a good balance to the team. Frustrating that he seems to start and finish seasons well and "drifts" in the middle.

I'd originally have thought that a midfield duo of King and Cambiasso would get bullied, but credit to the two of them, they both look so solid! King again has been doing a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff, but it's nice for him to get a couple of goals as that's what his game is really about. He just has that little more class than James, although James has still got plenty of room for improvement. Shame that chance right at the end fell for him and not King!
