Lets take advantage of the fact we can actually discuss things on this forum! What do you all make of the Andy Gray saga? I'm glad he's off the box to be honest coz he does my head in, but I think its all a massive overreaction. I just saw it as a bit of banter with a colleague, surely this is allowed regardless of gender. It would be interesting to know what Charlotte Jackson made of it all but if she had a complaint then she should have raised her concerns at the time. Also they warned him about sexist behavious on Monday and then sacked him on Tuesday after discovering evidence of an incident that occurred BEFORE he was warned. Sexism is everywhere on TV, a lot of it is directed at men as well but we never hear about that. What do you lot think?

 

I think its a bit of an over reaction too.

SkySports were reporting he had been axed after new evidence had come to light, I've just read that while a female was wiring his mic up he suggested to shove it down the front of his trousers.

After what was said was being blown out of proportion he comes out with something like that, he has got what he deserved.

I think Skysports should set an example now and give their jobs to female presenters... Preferably ones with really big tits.

 

Fact is nobody seems to be too gutted about him being shown the door as hes just a fat biased prick who hasn't got a good word to say about any team outside the top 4.

However, i think the PC brigade has claimed another scalp here. I don't think that its unacceptable for a guy at work to say to his friend in confidence that he thinks the new girls quite fit. the offside rule bollocks is in jest, at the end of the day the lass is officiating a premiere league game so shes as qualififed as it gets really and thats just bloke banter whether girls like it or not. its always a cheap laugh. As for Karen brady...if she thinks shes dealing with sexism when everybody has a go at her she has to realise that its not because shes a woman but because shes a silly cow and no one likes her.

for the record though if andy gray is gone for what he said the Keys has to go too.

I say sack Keys aswell, not for the sexism thing but he's boring, and hire the guy off Revista de La Liga in his place, and then either Kammy or Redknapp in Grays.

I was over the moon when i heard he was sacked! He is a grade A tosser!

Now lads, fingers crossed Fifa take him off all future games aswell eh?

Did you hear her interview on the radio? She was saying "I'm a big advocate of women in business, 75% of my executives at Birmingham were women and I have brought in 3 people at West Ham, all of whom are women". - Sounds like she's the sexist one to me!

I'm surprised Andy Gray lasted so long. Looking at all the teams boards there is no one who is disappointed that he has been sacked.

Do Sky not ask their viewers their views on who is presenting/commentating their sports programs? I find it hard to beleve they don't for such a big organisation.

Just hope they get a quality replacement in
