Several sources say that he is interested in 2 clubs NOT believed to be Southampton which sources seem to strongly link to us. He has openly said to media that he is expecting to leave for a foreign club and that the process has already dragged on. Hopefully he could sign within the next few days if, as believed, we are one of the two clubs tempting him.
QPR now being heavily linked with delort, first Deeney and now Delort after we've been linked with/put a bid for. Anyone else think twitchy is just basing his transfer targets on Nige's?
I'd take that. Why have a scouting system when you can see what players an excellent scouting system picks up and bid for said player
Good point. Transfers are becoming less and less secretive; I think it's a shame, I can remember the days of turning on the computer and Leicester have suddenly signed someone, it wasn't long ago. With the increase in media anyone can be a scout to some extent.
Don't know much about the French lad, but I do know that L2 level he's been playing in France is about conference standard. PS we're keeping Remy , fill yer boots on the Deeney deal!
Meh, Knocky and Mahrez haven't done so bad coming from there, everybody has to start somewhere... You keeping Remy then? Wonder how interested he's going to be playing for the Dramas, when he was that close to playing Champions League football. How much are you paying him again?
Remy will go somewhere before Aug is out. When a player wants away, best to get rid. You need to still be thinking about a replacement or you'll end up with nowt.
Yeah like I say I know nothing about him, he might be worth a punt, but it's a massive step up in level.
You could be right, but it's a complicated deal for many reasons now, & he might decide his best option is prem football in London. Hope he does cos I loved watching him play, he is absolutely deadly!
I could maybe see him start a few games for you then get stolen on deadline day. It would a coup for you if he plays all season, but I can't see it now his mind seems set on leaving.
Just remembered that player who scored at Loftus rd came from non league, great signing he is, like him even if I can't remember his name!
Jamie Vardy was his name! Took a while to get used to the jump in standard, but he had a terrific season. Looking forward to seeing how he does in the Premier League. I can see Remy pissing off to Russia or Qatar, one of the few places who would be stupid enough to pay him as much/more than you're paying him. I know if I was on the verge of signing for my dream club, potentially challenging for a title, with Champions League football to boot, but it broke down and I had to play at Loftus Road in a relegation fight... Well, I think I'd almost be suicidal!!
Plus, this article titled "Newcastle still interested in Remy" kind of contradicts what you're saying here? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28586366
