I know what you're saying but I'd have prefered just to have given Carroll more time. The thing with Borini is that I just don't see his attributes at all Saint. No pace, not got a great touch, doesn't seem to know where the goal is, can't dribble. Good runs off the ball is about the best I can say. At least with Mandy I knew he wasn't great but give him a chance to smash it with his left he could produce a rocket like not many others can. He could hassle guys like Huth, Terry, Jagielka, Lescott/Kompany and keep them occupied. As I said given the choice I'd take Mandy over Borini any day of the week.
