Or as Swords likes to call him Andy Townsend.

MOTM today by a country mile and IMO the best individual performance this season. He's been better in 2 games than Granero has in 24 games!

We all agreed the same thing in the pub afterwards. Shame he's not ours.

He won't get a look-in at Spurs as long as they've got Bale. Won't be with us next season, sadly...

Reminded me of those few golden months that Kyle Walker spent with us. Must be something in the water at WHL.

Surely this more than anything tells us where the player acquisition policies of successive managers have gone wrong. We get the over-the-hill or crocked players on ludicrously expensive deals but forward looking clubs look to keep their up-and-coming youngsters at all costs (while using the likes of QPR as a training ground).

Agree totally. Me and mates said exactly the same thing during the game yesterday. A highly rated, relatively unknown youngster destined to one day be an England star. Shame it will probably go the same way as Kyle Walker and he will go on to much greater things.

Funny enough we were saying that he has the potential to be the best player we've have had in this year, just as he was taken off, now thats ironic.

Who gets the blood racing when they pick up the ball - Adel, Townsend and err....thats it. Blokes I sit with all agreed we would prefer to see Samba Diakite given free rein, play like a maniac carrying the ball forward for 30 minutes before being sent off, than this endless controlling the ball, turning 360 degrees and then passing backwards.
