Also Andre Grey has been linked several times before, seems Allens kind of player and the deal makes sense. To give them Birchall will be good for them as I imagine he will be a very good player in the conference and will save us some money on the deal. Grey in my opinion could be a very good player in League 1 and feel that he could be a very similar signing to Simeon Jackson, not in the way he plays but in the way we could provide a stepping stone to the Premier League as from what I've seen of him he looks very mature for his age. Anyway does anyone else believe this or feel he would be a good signing?
Its very hard to believe that website. I admit I go on it to look at what people are saying, but more for a laugh. 2 weeks ago people on there were dead certain that Deon Burton was going back to Rotherham which wouldn't happen in a million years.
I agree Peg Leg but it just seems like something that could happen rather than complete balderdash! Maybe I just want it to be true rather than believe it!
I've accessed a site popular with Luton Town fans and have not seen any mention of this, I checked posts over the last 48 hours. I would have thought discussion would have been pretty hot with the Hatters on this if any truth.
Millwall were interested in him and rumoured to be making a bid when Kenny Jackett was there at the back end of last season, But now Lomas is at the Den, he seems interested in Simeon Jackson and theres been no more about them going for Grey, so there may be some truth in it and thats another bidder out of the way.
If I am correct Andre Gray did sign a new contract in January. I know that don't mean that he will stay and that this should only increase value however I don't believe this is a player that we will sign even though he does sound like a good player that we could sign. If we do sign him then I would be happy, also to see Birchall go somewhere where he would be playing first team football.
